Repainting a 207

Anybody ever thought of repainting the 207 to black gloss?
I am just wondering if anyone had that experience yet?

Sounds like a TREMENDOUS amount of work to do it really well. How about selling your 207 and buying the 209 that was just discontinued?

If we are going to refinish—how about a very high gloss lacquered white with gold trim. Would that be glitzy or WHAT? No one would have anything like it anywhere...

Very true indeed, but still I am more like a glossy black with gold kind of guy! ....
I don't think it's the amount of work... it's rather the way to do it.... the paint and the how-to-get-the-right-parts disassembled/isolated. Just the Yamaha sign at the back is hard to reset.....
