Hi everyone

I've ordered a CVP 405 PE from a company near where i live in England and am still waiting for it to be delivered.
It's been about 3 weeks since i ordered itand i'm getting a bit fed up with waiting, but hope it's worth the wait.
I played a 403 at a local shop and loved the sound of it, so ordered a 405, as it has a few more styles and voices on it.
I couldn't afford afford a 407 or 409 :( but hope the 405 won't disapoint.
I love to play piano and was bought up in a house hold with electronic organs, i don't read music that well, i've had a roland E86 for years, but wanted something more permanent and with a full size keyboard, thats available to play all the time, hence a CVP is also a nice piece of furniture too.
I've joined CVP users group so i can ask for help if and when i need it, as from what i've read the CVP range can be quite technologically daunting.
I'll post again when it finally turns up.

Welcome to the group, and the CVP world! I have seen a couple of statements of it being "quite technologically daunting" now. To me it is quite user friendly. You should be able to work it right out of the box. Could you specify why you think it may be daunting?

I tried out both the 403 and the 405 at my local Yamaha dealer. I ended up going with the 405 because of the extra Polyphony, and the Color LCD screen. I think you'll be satisfied.
