Hi All
Does anybody out there have Skype?
I have added a link to my signature below but can not test it, as I can not call myself.
Would someone like to click on the "Click here to call me for Free using Skype" link and see if it works.
Also, what happens if you click on it and don't have Skype?
Thanks
Midi

Hi Midi
I tried it and got a message saying that skype is not a registered protocol, whatever that means.
I do not have skype, in fact am not even sure what it is...<GRIN>...but wanted to give it a try for you.

Hi Ericho & Ian
That is what I would expect it to say. That you need the program Skype to make the call.
Someone has sent me an email saying that they have Skype but it does not work as it should. So I replaced my Sykpe name with his and it worked ok. Not sure why he can not call me !!
Ian, Skpye is a program that will allow you to make a call from your PC to any PC in the world for FREE. You can also call any Landline or Mobile at much cheaper rates than most telco's.
Have a look at:

Hi
If you have Skype and the link does not work. Then Open the Skype program click on "Tools" - "Advanced" and make sure you have a tick in "associate Skype with callto:// links on the web"

I have just recently joined the millions of Skype users. Here in the US it is $2.95 for 3 months of unlimited outgoing calls. For a bit more you can make unlimited international calls. For about $6 a month or less (depending on how you want to pay) you can purchase an incoming phone number accessible by any telephone.
Now there are phones that enable you to be able to use both your "land line" and Skype on the same phone, WITHOUT your computer having to be turned on.
I highly recommend Skype. I've been toying with it since January '08 and its a pretty amazing phone service so far.

Hi all
The reason I mention Skype, is because I get a lot of requests for help and talking someone through a problem is much easier than doing it via emails.
