wondering if Yamaha has any seminars for learning how to use the Clavinova - I have a CVP 305 and i'll bet it would be really helpful.

if anyone out there uses one professionaly could you let me know how?

I've taught, played in music ministries, and a few playing jobs here and there. (but I'd like to do more, and I think this 30 will help)

I've studied Jazz, classical, pop. I'm positive there's a lot you can do with this instrument, there's just so much to learn, it's like drinking water from a fire hydrant.

Also, the preset songs are great, and my singing voice sounds so much better with the voice harmonizer. I would feel much more confident doing a little singing, but I need to find out how to control the harmonizer more than just pushing one button, leaving it on constantly, etc. how about a foot switch or something?

When I had a CVP, I found both the audio CD tutorials (http://www.cvpug.com/content/view/4/4/)and the DVDs useful. Don't know that there is a similar DVD set for the 3x series, but much of the 2x series would be similar. Search for "watch & learn dvds" at this site: http://www.yclubinteractive.com/chstore.asp

Hi!

That's an extremely broad question. I'll respond on everyone's behalf with "by turning it on"

but I need to find out how to control the harmonizer more than just pushing one button, leaving it on constantly, etc. how about a foot switch or something?
Press the Direct Access button, and then depress the pedal of your choice, for instance the middle (you can also have an external foot switch for this, I do). If you then scroll down under "Function", you have "Vocal Harmony", which will let you control it with the pedal.
