CVP 407 Video

I'm upgrading from a 207 to a 407. Does the RGB out to a Flat screen monitor allow you to see the main display on the monitor? The manual only refers to text and lyrics but I want to make sure the songs that I'm playing show up on the montior. Does anyone have a monitor hooked up to their 407 and can advise. thanks!

Yes a Flat screen monitor will show the display via the RGB/VGA connection. The key is to purchase a lower resolution monitor because the CVP 407 only outputs 640X480. I originally purchased a 19" ViewSonic and the image overlapped (would not fit on the sceen) and it could not be manually adjusted. I exchanged for a lower resolution Samsung and it worked great.
