I have a CVP-405 and I'm not too happy with the fact that when I offload either a .wav file or a .mid file to my USB drive, the creation date is always 01/01/2007. When I copy these files to my PC for backup, the dates are the same as the previous version I copied. In order to put a current date on them, I have to load them into another music app I have and do a "save as". This is tedious and this app only works for .wav files. I have not found a way to change the date on a .mid file.
I've talked to Yamaha support and I've been told there is no way to change the Clavinova's date that gets assigned to these files when they are written to the USB drive. I tried using the DOS copy command to affect this change, but that didn't work. Does anyone know an easy way to change the create date on these files?
