I need your help

I have a clavinova for sale, its in excellent condition, I have owned it from new and hate to admit, haven't really used it that much (inability to play really)
I would like to sell in on ebay, but cannot really find out its approx value?
Can anyone help?

I subscribe to a pricing service on eBay and it does not appear as though any 209s have been sold on eBay in the past 90 days, so pricing the market is difficult. Generally speaking you should set a reserve at between 40-50% of retail (not list), or set a "buy it now or best offer" at the price you would like to get and look at 40% of what you paid as the minimum "reasonable" price you should accept on an offer given eBay behavior. I am trying to sell my 309 right now and am getting no nibbles at <50% of retail so it is definitely a weak market. Overall I would not recommend selling it right now unless you really need the $$ or are really not using/enjoying it because of market conditions. If you can wait 4-6 months, you will likely get a better price. People are out playing right now and not buying big ticket items. Late fall/pre-holidays will be a much better time, and the economy might be on the mend by then.
