Hi everybody
my CVP309 is probably the first generation, the firmware is 1.52
Now I have many troubles.
1/the USB stick don't work anymore
if I record some midifiles from a computer, then plug into the usb port, it seems the usb stick is empty.
If I record some files from CVP then I plug into the computer, the computer says the usb stick need to format.

But if I use the 3.5'disk the files can be found but my computer haven't the 3.5' anymore, furthermore the 3.5' is only a poor M° capacity

2/I received a usb wired LAN adaptor from IDC (the compatible adapter in 2006)but when I plug from the usb cvp port into the internet hub, it seems the 1.52 firmware don't recognize this wired LAN (the green LED don't work)

If I download the new firmware 1.80 inside the CVP, all the problems can be fixed?

Thank you so much for your help

I don't know if firmware upgrade will solve your problem (I don't think so in this case). It seems that this problem is not in firmware because the mentioned functionality should work with existing firmware. Maybe you should firstly to try with another USB stick. But also it could be the problem with firmware.

However, upgrading to last firmware version is not bad idea. Why not? I would upgrade to last firmware version.

Hi,

try to format the stick /using the CVP Format function/.
Recently I was testing a CVP403 at a store nearby and I had an USB Stick with me. The CVP did not recognice it.

There are two genders for USB Stick formatting: HD format (with partition table) and Superfloppy format (without partition table)

Maybe it has wrong format and therefore it is not recognized.
