Deleting unsaved recording

If I record a song during practice to see how it sounds, on my CVP209, and then decide I do not want it.

How do I delete it without having to turn off the power to the piano, so that I can record it again or another song in it's place...?

There must surely be a more efficient method, but I can't seem to find it in the manual.

I have figured out how to save a song to the USER folder and delete from there.

Just record over the top of it.

How about pressing :RECORD: :TOP: together.

Any action that would call up a different song (New Song, as Midi suggested), or selecting a different User song, will result in a dialog asking if you want to save your recording. Just choose "No", and you're all set.

I must have done something wrong the first time I tried to record over a song, because it did not work, I still ended up with the old version!

It works now thank you.
