Hello,

for the english readers here: this offer is only interesting for people living in germany. I hope here are german visitors or possibly somebody finds this via Google.

Hallo,

Peter

Hi!

That is probably one of the most detailed product descriptions I've read. You should post it on eBay.de as well, if you haven't already.

Hi Danny,

I will offer it at ebay if it doesnt go away.
However I dont want buyers that dont know what they get and then they are disappointed or possibly they refuse to take it or dont pay it after bidding.
I am not so confident about the price tag, because now the Kawai stands near to it and I could compare the keyboards.

The new keyboard is much less slippery, it has just the right amount of friction. It is also much less noisy and more precise.
While using it during the last days I made progresses in piano playing, that I did not dream of before.

I am willing to reduce the above mentioned price tag a lot, I need the space.
I dont recommend the CVP96 for beginners as a cheap entry point, I want a serious buyer who knows what he will get and who tried it in advance. Preferrably a technical skilled person. Of course the speakers and amplifier are still high quality and much more powerful than those in my Kawai. (I will connect my Hifi Stereo to the Kawai, that will compensate it ;-)

regards,

Peter

Hi!

However I dont want buyers that dont know what they get and then they are disappointed or possibly they refuse to take it or dont pay it after bidding.
I know what you mean. I sold an old PC, out of warranty, on a local site similar to eBay once. It was working when I sold it, and I showed it to him that it was working when he came to pick it up. 6 months later I got a call from a very angry person I did not know. It turned out that he in turn bought the PC from the guy I sold it to. He had installed a new sound card, and now he couldn't get it to work - and the guy he bought it from had said that if there were any problems, he should ask ME. He was very angry and kept saying it was my fault that the new sound card he installed didn't work.

I was appalled and just had to tell him to go to a PC shop and get some service, and hung up.

But with regards to your particular concerns, eBay does have safe-guards for all of that. Sales are final, and if you use a payment broker such as PayPal, you don't ship until the payment has been made. If it's not made in time, the sale is null and void - and the buyer gets registered as a bad buyer; which eventually can turn into a police report, all handled by eBay.

The ebay offer is here:
http://cgi.ebay.de/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=130338939077

Unfortunately Yamaha released the 500 series some weeks too late.
I would have taken the CVP 503 into serious consideration it looks interesting, the Ivory feel keyboard sounds attempting.

I am now a Kawai owner and I am quite happy with that.

I will of course continue to watch yamaha models and this site, but for now I am low on money ;-)

greetings and best wishes,

Peter
