My name is Brandon, I am 26, from Tacoma Washington. After waiting several weeks it looks like I can now finaly post a message. My first Clavinova was a CVP-94 and loved it very much. When I moved out on my own I bought a CVP-407 and have had it for 2 years now and I am still discovering fun new things about it. I love taking songs I would like to learn and then by using the "Song Creater", inputing all the notes one by one, then playing it to really get a feel for what the music is to sound like before I learn it. I find it to be a great motivator. With the super realistic sounds of the 400 series, the sound is so much better than creating a MIDI on the computer.
I've come to love the soft touch of the yamaha keys and have been told by my dealer that they have made the feel of the clavinovas, especially with the wooden keys now, match that of an actual yamaha piano, but I have yet to compare the two. So I think if I ever get a real baby grand, it would have to be a Yamaha. Ha, would probably get a CVP GP of some sort. I'm hooked!
Anyways, just saying hello, Love the website. :p
