I'm about to purchased a CVP 307 that has been used for 6 mos. The price is $4250.00 and I'm not sure if that's a good deal or not. I'm trading in a CVP 94 for $1700.00. So any input on whether this is a good deal or not would be really, greatly appreciated. I can always bow out of the deal within the next two days and keep looking for something less expensive. This will be the last CVP I ever buy and I really had no thought that I would be spending quite this much since at the age of 61 I'm a novice player, I've only been learning for approx 4 mos now. But I'm having a blast and am a gadet, high tech/internet type person so the 307 is way ahead of the 94, hence a desire for a cvp more technologically advanced.

Again, any input is appreciated. Thanks, Judith

If the $1700 trade is being deducted from the $4250 purchase price then it seems like a pretty good deal to me. If not then I would try for a better deal.

The CVP307 is my third Clavinova and it's an excellent choice to be "the last CVP you'll ever buy". As far as I'm concerned Yamaha hasn't come up with any new features that cause me to yearn for an upgrade even with the new 500 series.

The CVP -07 models were usually the sweet spot for the money. Sadly, it looks like that model offering is now history.

Good luck!!!

Thanks for responding Phil. Yes, the $1700 is being deducted from the $4250 and from what I've been reading, it sounds like a good, fair price. But of course I'm just looking out for myself and trying to get the best price I can. I know someone is selling a CVP 307 on Craig's List that has been used for the past two years and I'm thinking it's without a warranty. I believe I'm getting a two yr. warranty, and "my" CVP has only had six months usage. So.....

I appreciate your reply.
