MIDI Files?

Seems like there was many discussions about MIDI files throughout the membership before the new website came online... Why do I find only two MIDI files in the download area? Is it up to members to upload them individually? Or was there an archive from the old site? Thanks.

The two files that are on the new site are the two that I created. I moved them over from the old site. Each of the file's owners will have to move their files over, or someone will have to volunteer to move them all. I just can't seem to find the time to do it right now.

I also think that it would be great to share own creations with each other. That 'd be really cool.

So, how do we upload midi-files? I see that we should give a URL - but I don't have any site?? Aren't there like shared serverspaces somewhere we could upload our stuff to? With a link on this site we could then immediately access that serverspace? - Just a thought-

Yes. As I understand, our new server and software doesn't actually upload the file itself, but links to it on some other server. You can upload a file to the old YahooGroups web site and link to it from there if you want.

I would like to do that but unfortunately I am still a pending member of that yahoo group ... how long does that normally take to change from pending to active user??

Ha Ha Ha I didn't expect to ever need to approve another member to the old group. Oh well. I've approved you now. You should be able to post files. Just please don't continue discussion threads in the old group.
