Fade Out button

My older Clavinova had a Fade Out button, but my 509 doesn't seem to have one--- at least in the same place. Does anyone know where I might locate that control? Thanks.

Hi Gwenlyn, i have the CVP 305 and it too has a dedicated button for fade out. I downloaded the 509 reference manual and it looks like you have to assign one of the pedals for that function. The owners manual does not include this information.

I found the reference manual and the page where I am able to set the Fade Out/In. Now how do I access that while I'm playing the keys?????

Set the fade to a pedal - I use the middle and the right for changing registrations.........

Having set the fade/pedal SAVE it as part of your registration.

Whilst playing that registration whenever you press the pedal the fade will commence.
