Hi
In the preset style page (brand new CVP900 with factory settings) where you can find al the folders as 8beat, 16beat etc ... I have at the end a folder that is called "MusicFinder".
When I select that folder I have again a serie of subfolders called 8beat, 16 beat and so on ... just as in the root style page.
Within those subfolders I can find the usual stylenames but with at the end of their names each time M1 or M2 ...
And I cannot delete this folder because it is in the preset folder :-(
What is this???
Is someone else has this on his CVP also??
I am living in Belgium.
Regards
Kurt

To my knowledge these are styles that have been altered fromt he original to fit the Music Finder listings adn the Demo Songs.
Often thy have had a specific Into or Ending added as well as part changes.
I hav sometimes found these useful for other songs you might want to play.
Hope this helps.

Hi
Yes maybe you're right ... This can be a reason
Do u have a US or European version?
I hope that this directory does not affect the internal 4 MB memory
Thanks anyway for your reply

I have a European version, purcashed in the UK.
I think that these files are not stored in the "flash ROM2 section of the memory wiht allows you to add and delete the files, the same way as the standard panel styles and voices.
Some of the 4MB user memory is used for other purposes as well, I think, but I am not sure what for.
I love my CVP 208, I took forever to make a desision on what to by after owning a variety of PSR keyboards fover the last few years.
I have to say the quality of the Piano voice and feel is just great.

The MusicFinder folder is just a bunch of extra styles. They are organized the same way as the standard styles (eg, 8beat, 16beat, etc.).
A music finder style is based on the original style. However, sometimes the intros, or the endings, or the assoicated voices (OTS setting) has changed.
Try, for example, 6-8SlowRock1 under 8beat. Make sure AutoFillin and OTS Link are on (to get the full demonstration of the style). Pick a ballad (like Can't Help Falling In Love), and go through the intro, Main A,B,C,D and the ending.
Then go to the MusicFinder, 8Beat and choose 6-8SlowRck1M1, go through the same sequence, and see the differences. You'll like the original style on some songs and the 'M#' styles on others.
You can also sort the Music Finder by style, and see which songs they've associated with the MusicFinder styles.
