Hi
Is the voice memory for the 207 the same as the 208 ?
for the uneven numers it looks like this:
CVP-201 8MB
CVP-203 32MB
CVP-205 48MB
CVP-207 80MB
CVP-209 112MB
Is it the same for the even numbers ??
thanx

Hello
The question above seems like a hard one to anser ?
Yamaha is not using the memory size as a selling statment ??
One could conclude that the odd numers have better sounds than the even numbers cvp.
How is that ??
If the electronic architecture of the 209 and the 210 is the same
The amount of voice memory is the same
The 210 has more voices than the 209
So the amount of sample memory / voice is bigger on the 209
I tend to conclude that the 209 has better quality voices than the 210
There is no doubt that samplequality is directly linkt to the avalable amount of memory
The same goes for the 207,208 etc.
Maby more voices in the specs sells better than memory size.
Or em I completly of track on the memory issue ???

Hi
The 210 has a much different piano sample than the 209 - it has the CLP170 sample. More exciting voices like Sweet Oboe & Sweet Mandolin; Better polyphony management from the 209, and NEW voices like the "Natural! 12 String Guitar" with built-in fret noise. All-in-all, it is an improved instrument. The Top of the line.
