I know the differences between two models. As the price difference is about 1200 euros (203 cost 3500 and 205 costs 4700) , I would like to ask the users, if the quality of the sound for piano is noticeable and worths the difference in price. I don;t care for all the other fitures. Just for Piano quality sound.

Well, there is no big difference I guess in the sound between cvp 203 and cvp 205 - mainly feature differences.
But there is on the other hand a huge difference between the cvp 205 and cvp 207. I heard the two next to each other and the difference is distinctable.

I don't know where you are from but I think that you can get your CVP 207 for only 4000€ via an online german shop (It's a trusted shop!)

the address: http://www.music-station.de/index.cfm?469,5,40216,6,0,1,1,10

the other models are also cheaper here.

Hope this makes you doubt even more (It took me seven month before deciding which one I was going to buy!!) - Had a cvp 75 but needed new sounds.

Enjoy the sleepless nights - Cheerz

Mike,
I just closed a deal for a friend of mine at a dealer who wants 3,399.00€ for a 207 and 4,999.00€ for a 209 (Germany).
http://www.bauer-music.de (digital pianos).
Might want to take a look there.

Hi,

I recently purchased a PF1000. This is almost EXACTLY the same as a CVP205 - even the headers in the files that it saves say CVP205. The only features missing appear to be the guide lights, and a slightly lower speaker output power, both of which I can live with. Oh, and the music stand doesn't feature the little "clips" to hold the pages down.

The case is different - rather than the full "cabinet" it is just in a "stage piano with legs" format, and as a result the speakers are on top. However it is very sturdy once the stand is screwed together, and has a proper 3 pedals. They also supply a cloth dust cover, so it's not too difficult to keep it clean.

Here in the UK the price is somewhere between the CVP201 and CVP203. I was previously considering the CVP207, although that was very much at the top of my budget range. When they launched the PF1000 I could immediately see that at around half the price it was the one to go for!

Just for reference, I got mine from the "Musical Instrument Megastore", who seem to have excellent prices and pretty good service too - see
