Hi!

I have a CVP 103,
and I tried loaded karaokefiles (from http://bluenote.eclectiq.net/music/karaokefiles/) to a floppy and tried it out on the piano, but no lyrics..
anyone?

My experience is limited to just a couple weeks, but I have had success in finding midi files that do include the lyrics. The site below has I believe around 20 zip files you can download. When these files are uncompressed, each has about 30 songs (files) arranged alphabetically along with a text file that you can use to loosely tell which songs are included.

I found this file in a reference from another thread on this site, though I forget exactly where. I do not mean to take credit for the suggestion of another group member.

There's a section in the CVPUG FAQ that addresses why you don't see lyrics on .kar files.
