I'd like to report a good experience with Keyboard Concepts in Van Nuys, California, where I just bought a CVP900. They are a very large Yamaha dealer and had the complete CVP line in stock, including the 900 which was hard to find elsewhere. Alex did an excellent job in demonstrating the instrument, and the manager, Dennis Considine, was a straightforward and honest negotiator.
I paid about 10% more than if I had bought it out of state/out of country, but I believe in supporting dealers who can show you the product and demonstrate it effectively, particularly with something this expensive. I was undecided between the 209 and 900 and spent a lot of time going back and forth until settling on the 900. I could not have done that "remotely." They also did an excellent job in arranging quick delivery and setup, even though I'm 400 miles away.
Highest recommendation.
