Hi
How can I quicly see on my computer if a midifile contains lyrics or not ?
When I play a midifile on the computer using yamaha file-utility
it plays perfectly on the 208 tru the usb.
However is the midifile contains lyrics they dont show on the cvp.
When I uplaod the midifile into the usermemory of the cvp then the lyrics display.
Now I want to seperate the midifiles with lyrics from the ones without, on the computer.
Kind regards

Hi Eric
One of the best programs to do what you want is
vanBasco's Karaoke Player
you can find it at:
http://www.vanbasco.com/
One thing you can do is drag and drop files into the Karaoke screen and if it has words then it will show you.
Best of all it is free.

Hi All
Glad to help.
I had always found it a bit of a pain to use until I got my new monitor. If you can run it at 1280 by 1024 then it is a dream. Of course it will work at 800 by 600 but I always found it a pain not being able to have all the windows open at once.
Go into the Setup (click the little Note to the left of the word Vanbasco's) click on the Karaoke tab and select "Scroll info" if your machine does not slow down.
I never knew there was so much text within a midi file.
If only it could play Eseq files...........
That's why we wrote the Yamplayer.

Hi
Try my program Lyrics Finder. It is free :-)
The program can scan the midi files in an entire folder and will show in a list which files contains lyrics.
Clicking the file in the list will display the lyrics.
Lyrics can be edited, printed and saved to file.
You will find Lyrics Finder at

Best wishes

Hi Eric
Here is the remedy:
You must install the .Net Framework at your computer. This is required to run applications programmed in the newest programming languages (VisualBasic.Net, C# etc.)
Check out the download page http://home7.inet.tele.dk/js/software/index.htm for detailed information.
Check the left side of the page above.
