I was having problem saving voice changes to a downloaded Midi file on my CVP 205. I closely followed the tutorial on "MIDI Editiing".. but my saved file was still the original file.
I finally got my file to save, by making the change noted below.
"Press button B to select SET UP. At the bottom of the display, make sure there's a check mark in the box next to VOICE. If not, use any of the first seven buttons to select the VOICE parameter (it's probably already selected). Then use the UP or DOWN arrows under MARK ON OFF (button 8) to check the VOICE parameter box.
Press button D to EXECUTE this change. (
Press button I to SAVE this change back to disk.
NOTE: The display changes here and the greyed-out checkboxes are now available to change – I pressed EXECUTE again – I had to do this to actually save the changes - RWG)
If I'm right someone should update the tutorial...
