Hi all....

I'm looking for some advice....

I'd like to connect my CVP107 to my PC. Basically, what I'd like to do is play a piece on the Clavinova and have some kind of notation software record it in realtime. I'd then like to be able to edit out the bum notes(!), to be left with a faultless rendition :) The PC doesn't have a midi audio card at the moment, so my questions are... what audio card and software would you recommend to do this? I don't think I want to do anything else, and I'd like to keep costs down as I am only attempting this as a hobby.

Many thanks for your help in advance.

Alterasto,

You don't need a sound card with a midi port.

If you have an old style (rs232) 9-pin serial:

If you have USB:

For software, XG works (below), Cakewalk, etc...

Have fun!
