CVP 900 large piano button locks up

while playing a song with accompaniment, if I hit the large piano button to disengage all features and go right to a piano voice ( i.e. the button that's actually shaped like a piano)...it seems to lock up because if I then press another instrument, it keeps playing the piano...I have to shut the power off and power up again to be able to get other voices...any thoughts as to weather this may be a defect ?? has anyone had a similar problem?....bought it 3 months ago

Dear Omar
The piano-shaped button on your CVP-900 has a "lock" feature which will not allow you to change to anything else after you press the piano button. Go to Page 56 of your User Manual where you can find out how to unlock this button. It says you should hold down the button for a few seconds to unlock.
