Hi,
I bought the CVP-210 a couple of months ago which I am really pleased with. At the moment I love to play "along" with the internal "song book" songs following the score (without guide mode) and I am up to the level of "Love Song". I wish to purchase new songs from Yamaha in a similar style to the "two hands" arrangement of "Love Song", "Alfie", etc. I guess I am elementary but I am not sure. The descriptions on YamahaMusicSoft are very brief regarding level. I was going to purchase one book from each category, e.g.
1. ClaviSoft - Disk Orchestra Collection - "Best of The Beatles - Elementary to Early Intermediate"
2. XG for Piano - "Elton John For Piano"
3. Cue Time - "Medley Magic 1"
But before I do I would like to get opinions from anyone who has purchased these types of song book. Which group is best for the my (low) level of ability. I don't want something that is too easy/hard too play! It is a shame Yamaha don't put up extracts (+ audio) from the songbooks so we can see exactly what we are getting for our money.
Maybe someone could scan a couple of bars from each category so we can get an idea.
Thanks. :)
