This sounds real silly, but I haven't figured it out.

We've had a CVP-205 since September. I love it and my kids (a son who is 8 and a girl who is 6) really like it. I encourage them to play whenever they want. My daughter likes to play along with the children's songs in the piano's memory using the Guide Lights, etc.

Here's the problem. When the piano came, when you turned it on the default sound setting was the grand piano. Within the first week, my kids must have pressed some unknown sequence of buttons and the default setting became Soprano Sax.

I can't figure out how to change the default setting back to Grand Piano. I've been through the manual a bunch of times and don't see how to do it.

I figure someone here can probably answer the question in two seconds. Right?

Did you check to see if your OTS button is turned on?

Hi

When you turn the piano off with the OTS button ON the next time you turn it back on it will go straight to the OTS setting.

To get back to the Piano sound ALWAYS turn OFF the OTS before you turn off the piano.

I personaly think this is a bug !!!!!!!!

Well, you were right. Seems my daughter was alway pressing the OTS button on me.

Now I know to look to see if it is on if I turn on the piano and it comes up with the Saxophoen sound.

Thanks a bunch!

If You want to have piano as your only sound to keep from having to do a set-up each time, hold down the grand piano button until you get the option to turn on the piano lock. If you want to unlock it, then push the piano button again until it unlocks.

This is my first post. I have never owned a digital piano. My CVP 205 is supposed to be delivered in 3-6 hours. I can't wait to leave the office and go home. :D
