Changing volume in mIDI files

When I record a song on my Clavinova 207 and then try to play it on another system, the volume seems low. I have to have the volume controls on the other system jacked way up to hear it. I believe the recorded volume of the midi file itself is too low. How can I increase the volume of the file itself?

Dear Snow,

I understand that MIDI recordings are best at a volume setting of about 90-100 out of 0-127. This leaves head room in the recording. If the playing unit is too soft, check the volume levels of the recording. If necessary make the recording at higher levels.
