I haven't played much lately, and haven't written anything for a while, either. I'm waiting for a new keyboard assembly, which is being shipped to my repair guy (I have a couple of broken keys again, hopefully this will fix it for good). Anyway, I figured out how to shift the keyboard down a couple of octaves so I could avoid the bum keys, and started playing around a bit earlier this evening. I had a horrendous headache at the time, hence the title. It came out a lot different from what I first imagined, quite orchestral, but whatever works, I guess. I used GrandPiano2 and Live Strings. A little rough around the edges, as I'm even rustier than usual.

Great tune and as usual very well played.

Even though I have not got a headache and all my keys are working, I realise how much more practising I have to do when I hear the CVP played like this!!:D :D :D

Thanks, Howard - much appreciated! One of the guys from guitar.com just sent me a guitar track to put on it - we'll see how it turns out.

Here's a version with guitar by a friend of mine from guitar.com. I may have another one coming later. Too much fun :D

Very Nice. Now why can't I be similarly inspired even without a migraine. I guess I'll go down into the basement, locate my sledge hammmer and bust up a few keys. Hey, whatever works, I'm willing to try.

Keep up the good work.

Thanks much for listening, and for the kind words, MWiseguy! It's funny where you find inspiration sometimes. But I wouldn't recommend forcing the issue - LOL!

BTW, I got a new keyboard installed the other day, and it works like a charm. Now I have plenty of rust to shake off ;)

WOW. Thanks for sharing your music. It is moving and memorable - the kind of music that really makes you feel something inside...

Thanks very much, Steve - most appreciated! I hope you all are enjoying your CVP's as much as I do mine.

Happy New Year!

Hi clavinova guy,
this song of yours is really nice. The guitar version reminds me a bit on earlier pat metheny themes. I listended to it and began to fly ...:)

Thanks a bunch, Andreas - and I'll pass that along to Norm (the guitarist). You're the second person (besides me) to note the Pat Metheny vibe he had. Really added a lot to the song, I thought.
