Hi All,
Recently bought a CVP-305, it's really a good piece of instrument, which has lots of features.
But I found that the volume during MIDI playback is louder than that when you play (Grand Piano), so I feel a need to adjust to louder volume to achieve the same level of loudless.
Is this normal?
TIA
Chris

Depends on whether you're referring to a midi file you recorded on your CVP, or whether you're referring to a midi file you loaded into the CVP from another source. Every midi file has a block of data at the beginning of the file that sets the volume of the midi playback. If it's a file you recorded, your CVP will set the volume to whatever your volume setting was at when you recorded it -- thus it should play back at the same volume. But if you're loading midi files from other sources, it's possible for several midi files to each set the volume to a different level. You can permenently adjust the volume setting on a midi file either using the CVP's editing features or by using any commercial sequencing software.

Oh I see.
I was loading files which I downloaded off the Internet from my PC, then transfer them to my CVP by a floppy.
Thanks
