This is the first time I have participated on the forum and I'm just feeling my way. Would appreciate any help as to procedure. I'm just waiting for the arrival of my new CVP-307 on Friday. I originally bought a Tyros which I thought was quite good, however my good wife couldn't place any lamps or ornaments on it, hence I am exchanging it for the piano. I've had a few boards over the years; Clavinova, Technics and Roland pianos, PSR5700, Korg I3, Roland XP80, Gem S3, Roland EM2000, Yamaha S90 which I still have and the brief fling with the Tyros. I'm looking forward to the 307 though, wish it would hurry up and be delivered, tell me, is it worth waiting for?

Welcome to the group, Alexander!! How's the weather in Scotland??! I'll be over in Machester in November -- I'd like to believe it's going to be warm! <grin>
As far as CVPUG procedures, check out the CVPUG FAQ that you can find on the home page.
Enjoy your 307!

Alexander;
I understand what you mean about the ornaments on the piano.
I bought a 208 last year and my wife, (and I) coulden't wait to "dress it up".
I feel confident you will Love your 307.

The piece of furniture of CVP 307 is not of true rosewood, it uncovered, has this evening observed the magnified photo that I have made it, is clearly that draft of a photographic press. They are remained disappointed!!

Hi all,
sorry for the delay in replying, I have been playing the 307 delivered on Friday. It is an excellent machine. One or two little things I suppose as always; a third voice on the right would have made it special. Having saved 8 orchestral voices to the buttons, I found it difficult to move from one to the other quickly while recording and not having the bump or break from one sound to the other. I think its an art to be mastered to just release the sustain peddle at precisely the right moment so there can be a smooth transition. Overall I'm very pleased though.
