Hi, I'm a newbie with a brand new CVP-305 which I love. I have saved songs to a smart media card, which saves in a midi format. Can you advise me on the best way to take these midi files and convert them to files for a standard music CD?

Thanks!

Hi

The easy way is: buy a audio-cd recorder, connect the audio out of the cvp to the line in of the cd-recorder, play the midifile and press record.

The same thing can be done with a pc-computer
Connect the audio out of the cvp to the line in of your soundcard.
Play the midifile and make audiosamples on the computer at 44,1 kHz, 16bit stereo
After that use some cd-burning software to burn a audio-cd.

Note: do not confuse midi- with audio data, its not the same, you don't need midicables to make an audiocd.

Kind regards

Eric
