Hi everyone,

I'm new to this forum and so far I'm enjoying the abundant information about the clavinovas.
I'm getting a CVP next month and I've narrowed down my choices to CVP 305 and 307.

I read that 307 has iAFC feature:

"iAFC uses a microphone to pick up the sound of a room, then interpolates that sound with the piano samples, adapting the sound to the acoustics of the room, and providing an authentic damper effect. The difference in the sound is immediately noticeable."

Is it really noticeable though? or is it just for marketing purpose..

For the owners of 305 and 307, how are you enjoying your pianos? Any opinion about anything please.

Thanks! :) :p :D

Hi!

At least it was noticable to me (on the 309), it sounded more "present" in the room like a real piano, as opposed to just sounds through a speaker system.

However, the effect was slight, not mind-blowing.

(Note though that the microphones don't do this continuously, you have to do a once-off calibration first for it to work)

Hi!

The dealer is drooling as well, thanks to all the money he's gotten. He's told me it is the first one sold, and apparently so far the only one sold in Scandinavia.

And of course my bank manager is drooling as well, but for a totally different reason.... ;)
