Hi everybody,

I'm glad that I found your user group. Reading the threads was very interesting.

I just want to buy a cvp but it is all kind of confusing. Meanwhile I tried to get enough information for weeks. It's too much time - I want to play ! javascript:smilie(':)') smile
My experiences with the local dealers aorund are, that they just put out the advantages of the model they got in their store. javascript:smilie('')
mad

Nevertheless I decided to buy a CVP 305. But yesterday I got a opportunity to buy a CVP 208 for about $260 more.

Now the confusion is back ! Is it worth it to pay more for an "old" but "higher" model than for the new one ?

Please help me out with some thoughts.

Many thanks and regards

Personally, I'd prefer the 208 over the 305. The only advantage you might have with the 305 is the ability to add a thumb drive to store your MIDI files. It's like having a hard drive in your CVP. But, I've never had that and wouldn't trade by 209 just to get that feature. You might also want to consider the IDC capability in the 305. There's not much content for IDC just yet, but I keep hearing that it's coming.

Anyway, I prefer being at the top of the line, as opposed to being in the latest models.
