I am very grateful having found this CVP userforum and want to thank the people, who are running it. Its a great pleasure to discuss topics concerning the CVP models and the music you can play with them.
Before I found this forum I was in contact with several german Yamaha-keyboard forums, but the people there are rather keyboard orientated and play music I don´t like at all.
The motifator forum is nice, I posted my songs there and had very fine echos there. But Synth related topics are complicated because of the difficult technical problems of a motif-synth. Before I bought my CVP-307 I was thinking about buying a motifES8, but you don´t have the styles to play with and the structure of a synth is much more difficult than a CVP. So its nice to be here and share questions and music with other CVP users. :)

Hi, Andreas,

There's another website that has a large variety of offerings, called tyrosworld.com. You might fine the contributions by "Andrew" and many others to be worth listening to. The Tyros is very similar in voices and styles to the latest CVP300 series, but play back very well on CVP200s as well.

Andreas, your songs on Motifator are soooo good.:) I believe you should take the piano part on the cyberjam ericho started rather than me (http://www.cvpug.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=786)

Hi Danny,
thanks for the nice reply. If you can tell me how to start the cyberjam, I can try to get into it. If you thought to do it on basis of the main theme of "Flyme" we can try it. My experience is, that it is the best method to get to a song to start with a number of chords, then search a style for the basic rhythm and then add a melody. "Flyme" is based on the piano, then I added the rhythm.
But it will probably have to wait until New Year because I am very busy until christmas.;)
