Does anybody know, whether it is possible to play the styles of the CVP-307 (or other) by an external sequenzer? If so, what is the midisetting for this?
I ask, because the recording of chord progressions in the CVP step by step is much more difficult than with my QY70 Sequenzer, where I record step by step much easier. So I thought to get the chord progressions of a song from the QY via midi to play the styles of the CVP, so that I won´t have to play the chords on the keyboard. In the QY it is possible to record only chords, because there is one seperate track for the chords.
I tried it out with several midi-settings, but nothing happened.
(I will use this configuration as playalong for my Saxophon.)

Yes, it is possible to master the stylesection of the CVP by an external sequenzer. I changed the midiclock to midi, the start/stop unto style and put the chord-detect channels 9-16 on, so that the pattern of the sequenzer with the chord-progressions could be received. I started the sequenzer and off it went, the style of the CVP began to play with the chord-progressions. ;)

It seems that your problem is very similar to mine. I hope that I'll be success too :)
