I haven't seen this mentioned, but my Dealer lent me a "Quick Start DVD" for the CVP 300 series. It's put out by a branch of Yamaha called www.miditainment.com. They also sell instructional videos for other CVP's and Yamaha keyboards.
It's very good and demonstates all the the basic operations on a CVP 307. There is a 1 hour demonstration with 2 guys taking turns playing and operating the various settings.
There is also about a 1 hour demonstration of how to hook up the CVP to the internet. Also a nice story about the history of Yamaha Music.
This is also a DVD ROM with 20 "FollowLights" Songs you can transfer to your CVP. Also includes a nice color booklet with the voices, styles and songs nicely listed for easy reference.
From their website, looks like they are releasing 2 more DVD's in January, with more detailed instruction.
The introductory DVD was very informative, even though I had already figured out the basics. It gets a little corny at times, but well scripted and videographed.
Among the things I learned....it's obvious that you can adjust the tempo up or down for any song or style......BUT IF you want to return to the original tempo intended for the song or style, push both tempo buttons at the same time...(that's why it says "reset" underneath the buttons). The same goes for the "transpose" buttons.
