I have a cvp 207 for about two month. A got it on a clouded day and when I saw it the first time in sunlight I noticed the problem.
The color of the cabinet is Dark Rosewood, but it seems that the legs have a surface of Mahogany.
You can see a picture at

The picture is made under halogen lamp light. The effect is just a bit more than under sunlight.

Yamaha says, that this is impossible. CVP 207 are only made with cabinet in Dark Rosewood and so are the legs. My local reseller has done everything he could do for me and Yamaha would take my CVP an give the money back. But I like my CVP (but I hate the legs).

Is there anybody, who has the same problem? May be it is a silly monday problem and Yamaha does not believe that it exists. Am I the only one who has it?

Help! Thanks!

Although it doesn't sit in bright sunlight, the legs on my CVP207 are definitely a different shade than the sides. More of a reddish color which I guess could be described as mahogany. I don't think you will have any luck getting a color match.

I looked at my 207 using a flashlight and I have the same situation. I don't think it is a problem, because Yamaha built it that way. In other words it's a situation you'll have to live with unless you know a great artist who can match the color for you, because I believe that's the way they come. Therefore, no one will admit there's a problem, and therefore there will be no official solution.
