Does somebody visit the Winter NAMM next weekend? Would you kindly post us a report from the latest News of Yamaha keyboards, (probably a sideview to roland and korg?)
Thank you!

Anybody who wants to have a look at the oasys-presentation at the NAMM show may have a look here:

But I find nothing spectacluar in this half hour presentation...
What do you think?

Stephen Kay has posted 3 excellent demos of the OASYS here:

http://www.karma-lab.com/oasys/

He played all three in real time at the NAMM show. They showcase what the Karma functions within the OASYS can do. It is like having a traditional arranger keyboard on steroids.

Try this MP3 demo to see how a single OASYS can make a finished CD quality track with all the vocals and backing tracks.

Listen to this demo to hear how the OASYS can be used as the ultimate dance machine!

The Sonic State crew was at NAMM this year.
Here is their show coverage:

Check out the news about the 32GB piano sample.
Every single 88 key has been sampled at 8 velocity levels. There are no loops. Each sample has its own natural decay.
