Following a good tradition in this forum Brad Preston and me are posting alternatingly some tunes here...
So here comes a smal piece I played and recorded with the organflutes of the cvp307, it is called "dive in" and was written by Dave Limina for his hammond training course.

Hi Andreas-
Sounds very familiar.
Funny thing that I have been working from the same book by Berklee Press.
My question is which CVP drum pattern did you use?

Sounds cool, Andreas!
I get a kick out of fooling around with the organ voices on the CVP, too - a completely different dimension of the instrument. Here's a little ditty I threw together a almost three years ago shortly after I got my 209. I think I posted it on the old forum back then. It uses the Purple Organ, Growl Sax and some finger-drumming:

And this past weekend, this idea popped into my head, so I made a quick, sloppy recording. I haven't played much over the past couple of months, so I am plenty rusty. Felt good to record something, anyway :p

Hi Steve and Brad,
thanks for your comments and reactions on the hammond post of mine. Today I posted two more songs with hammondsounds...
Steve, I used the rock8 pattern intro1, sectionB and D and ending2
Brad, thanks for posting us these two short impressions of hammondsounds in our CVPs. I like both of them, the first one reminds me on some music back in the 70ies, the second one is also retrolike and you play the organsound very well. The saxvoices in both pieces are a little bit too much in the background, a saxsolo with organ only in the background would be nice...;)
One reason for me to buy the CVP307 and not only the 305 were the organsounds, because in the 305 there are only Leslieeffects but no overdrive which you need to have sometimes for a real hammondsound. I played a Roland VK7 for some time, which is the best hammond clone on the market, but the CVP Organflutes come quite close to it, and Iīm very content with these sounds...:)
