Did you try to refresh the screen? Could be due to the refresh rate or a spot damage on the LCD screen itself?

Let's hear from someone else with version 1.54 firmware if they have the same problem or not....

I have the 1.54 firmware and yes I have the same issue you took a screenshot of. I'm not sure if it was there on the older V1.05 firmware since I had not tried the organ flute voices.

Looking at the icon, it looks like the top part is a picture of the slider controls. If you click on that button, the screen opens up and shows a window with sliders. Perhaps this is normal ...

I have upgraded to 1.54 and have noticed this icon. It seems to appear on voices that have a "slider" concept and does look like a (not too well drawn) rendition of slider controls like we used to see on some older (Hammond among others) organs.

I think it is normal.

I still have the original version 1.04 firmware on my cvp. The icon with sliders looks the same on mine. It must be normal. If it was a bug, Yamaha should have fixed it between v1.04 and v1.54 (but then again, you never know :D ).

This must be normal. Even on my CVP-303 there are crude sliders on the "Footage" Icon. The 303 has only a blue and white LCD screen with much lower resolution...

Hi folks,
this screen is no bug at all. Have a look on page 98 and following pages of your manual. It´s the soundcreator for the organflutes. If you have any questions regarding organflutes-editing, feel free to ask me...
